Adetunji Adesesan was born In Oyo state, Nigeria in the year 1968. He grew up in the city of Ibadan, Nigeria. He had a Bachelors's and a Masters's degree in Special Education, Audiology, and Speech Pathology from the prestigious University of Ibadan. After his master's degree, he proceeded to the University of Ilorin for his Ph.D. in counseling education. In the year 2001, he got a scholarship to come to the US for an internship as part of his Ph.D. He has been in academics in the US for over 15 years. He started Nigeriaconnects in 2018. Prior to that, he has been involved in a series of book drives for schools in Nigeria. He is also a pastor.
